Vintage Chophouse & Tavern has been a cornerstone of Calgary's dining scene since 2003, operating out of the city's historic Beltline neighbourhood in Victoria Park. Over two decades, it has built a reputation as the benchmark for premium Alberta beef in the city — not through reinvention, but through an unwavering commitment to quality, hospitality, and craft.

Every steak on the menu is hand-cut in-house, using only the finest Alberta beef sourced with an eye toward supporting local farmers and producers. The menu extends beyond the grill to include seafood, fresh salads, and signature sides, but the steakhouse identity runs through everything on the plate.

The Wine Program

The wine list is one of the most serious in Calgary, with over 700 labels from around the world and one of the largest house pour selections in the city. That depth has earned Vintage the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence — recognition it has maintained continuously since 2013. Two Rooms, One Standard

The Dining Room sets the tone for the main experience: white tablecloth service, warm lighting, rich wood finishes, and a menu built around premium steaks and curated global wines. It suits a special occasion as readily as a business dinner.

The Tavern offers the same kitchen and wine list in a more relaxed register — leather club chairs, intimate booths, two large screens, and live music every Friday and Saturday evening. Local craft beers, martinis, and signature cocktails round out the bar program, and Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday from 2 to 5 PM.
