The story
Born from a desire to create a local hub for authentic Italian flavors, Mangia e Bevi arrived in Weston with a clear mission: bring the real taste of Napoli to South Florida. The Weston location is part of a small multi-location family that includes outposts in Cocoa Beach and Miramar, yet each spot carries the same commitment to genuine Neapolitan pizza — the kind that earned the brand a 2-slice recognition from Gambero Rosso, Italy's most authoritative food guide, in 2025.
Guests consistently single out the dough as the heart of the experience. "Best dough you will ever try," wrote one regular, while another called it "authentic Neapolitan pizza" and praised Luigi and his staff by name. That kind of personal hospitality, combined with a kitchen that sources prosciutto from Parma, buffalo mozzarella, and nduja straight from Calabria, gives Mangia e Bevi its credibility.
The menu reads like a well-edited tour of Italian regional cooking. On the pizza side, the classics are all present — a Margherita built on tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, and extra virgin olive oil; a fiery Diavola with spicy pepperoni; and a Marinara that keeps things stripped back with garlic, oregano, and basil. White-sauce options include a four-cheese pie layered with mozzarella, asiago, parmesan, and ricotta, and a Mortadella pizza finished with pistachios and pesto that signals real ambition.
Beyond Neapolitan pizza, the kitchen offers antipasti worth lingering over: Luciana-style baby octopus with cherry tomatoes and black olives, burrata paired with Parma prosciutto, and a Frisella — twice-baked white focaccia topped with Italian tuna, cherry tomatoes, and fresh arugula. Pasta, sandwiches, and house desserts round out a menu that makes it easy to stay for a full meal.
The Weston location offers both dine-in with outdoor seating and takeaway, keeping it accessible for a quick slice or a relaxed dinner.
