The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

A Clematis Street Institution

Since opening its doors in 2008, Pistache French Bistro has earned its place as one of downtown West Palm Beach's most enduring dining addresses. Situated at 101 N. Clematis Street under the banner of Titou Hospitality, it carries the kind of track record that speaks for itself: back-to-back Critic's Choice Awards from the Palm Beach Post for Best Power Lunch (2017) and Best in Dining (2018), a Best Brunch recognition from the same publication, and a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence — the latter a mark of how seriously the wine program is taken here.

French Cuisine, Done with Conviction

The menu reads like a love letter to the French bistro canon, executed with enough Florida sensibility to feel right at home on the Atlantic coast. Lunch opens with Burgundy Escargots in lemon garlic butter, a silky Onion Soup Gratinée crowned with Gruyère, and a house-made Pâté de Campagne served with pickles and assorted mustards. Main plates run from Moules Frites "Marinière" — P.E.I. mussels in a white wine-garlic-shallot broth with pommes frites — to a hand-cut Steak Tartare with traditional garnish and farm egg, and a Petit Branzino with sauce vierge, confit tomato, and fresh herbs.

That commitment to French cuisine carries through to dinner, where Coq au Vin with lardons, mushrooms, and pomme purée shares the menu with Duck Confit alongside garlic sausage and flageolet beans, and a Red Wine Braised Short Rib (Beef Basquaise) over smoked polenta. Steak Frites — a 10oz center-cut NY Strip with maître d'butter — anchors the menu as the reliable classic it should be.

The Wine List and the Bar

The Wine Spectator Award of Excellence is backed by a list that spans Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Côtes de Provence rosé, and well-chosen New World selections by the glass and half-bottle. The cocktail menu holds its own too, with signatures like the Pistache Gin & Tonic (Gin Mare, elderflower tonic, orange blossom) and the Havana Noir Old Fashioned (Whistle Pig rye, Papas Pilar rum, burnt orange, Cuban cigar box bitters).

Every Part of the Day

Few restaurants in West Palm Beach cover the clock as thoroughly. Weekday lunch, Saturday and Sunday brunch with unlimited rosé, a daily happy hour from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, and dinner seven nights a week. Monday nights bring an all-you-can-eat mussels tradition that has become a local ritual. Complimentary valet parking makes the whole experience frictionless.

Private Dining

A dedicated private dining room accommodates up to 70 guests with A/V capabilities, prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus, and cocktail reception packages with passed canapés ranging from Terrine de Foie Gras to Short Rib Ravioli with truffle sauce. It's a practical and polished option for business meetings, rehearsal dinners, and social gatherings alike.
