Chef-owner Marcello is, as Sarasota Magazine put it, the restaurant's "sole cook — there's no team of assistants; every meal is prepared by him alone." Nine Tables, One Chef, Zero Shortcuts

The dining room holds just nine tables, plus a wine room that seats twelve — a space Sarasota Magazine called something that "must be seen to be believed." The intimacy is deliberate. The restaurant's Italian cuisine is, in the chef's own words, built on "family recipes with applied techniques," and every dish is created daily using locally sourced ingredients.

Starters range from Burrata with Shaved Truffle to a tableside Caesar Salad and Grilled Octopus. Desserts hold to Italian tradition: Tiramisu, Cannoli, Tartufo, and a Limoncello Sorbet.
