Daniella's Ristorante

Classic Italian cuisine, a Wine Spectator-awarded wine list, and big-city hospitality in a relaxed Peabody setting.

The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

Daniella's Ristorante on Cross Street in Peabody, Massachusetts is, in the restaurant's own words, "a true Italian dining experience" — classic Italian dishes, an elegant European-inspired wine list, and creative cocktails delivered with warm hospitality and a hint of big-city charm.

The restaurant is part of North Shore Hospitality Group, whose stated benchmark has always been "great food and warm hospitality." That commitment to consistency shows in the recognition: Wine Spectator has granted Daniella's its Award of Excellence, an honor the restaurant notes it has held since 2018 — a meaningful run for any dining room outside a major metropolitan market.

The Menu

The dinner menu reads like a confident tour through Italian-American classics, executed with care. Antipasti range from Arancini with truffle aioli and Parmigiano Reggiano to Zucchini Blossoms filled with ricotta, and a Caprese built on heirloom tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. The pasta section anchors the Italian identity of the kitchen: a Bolognese described simply as "a true classic, made with beef and pork," and Nonna's Sauce — pork, meatballs, and sausage simmered all day — speak to a kitchen that respects the long game.

Secondi span both land and sea. Pan Seared Scallops come with spinach and parmesan risotto; Grilled Salmon arrives with pesto, pine nuts, and gnocchi. The Classici section offers chicken or veal preparations — Saltimbocca, Francése, Piccata, Marsala — alongside a Bistecca selection that includes a prime ribeye and a Filet Mignon, both served with truffle mashed potatoes.

The Bar

The cocktail list has its own Italian personality. Daniella's Negroni uses house-infused blood orange gin, Campari, Ramazzotti Rosato, and Punt e Mes. The Godfather of Manhattan swaps in housemade Chianti bitters for a decidedly Italian twist on an American classic. House-infused spirits appear throughout, signaling a bar program that goes beyond the basics.

The Wine

The Wine Spectator Award of Excellence reflects a list built around Italian producers alongside broader European selections. By-the-glass sparkling options alone run from a Veneto Prosecco to a Franciacorta from Cà del Bosco and a Moët & Chandon Champagne — a range that pairs naturally with the depth of the Italian food menu.

Daniella's is open seven days a week for both lunch and dinner, and accommodates private parties and events alongside its regular table service.
