The story
Bob's Steak & Chop House has built a national reputation on one straightforward promise: the finest Prime beef, prepared and presented without compromise. The Oklahoma City location, situated inside the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel on Oklahoma City Boulevard, brings that same standard to the heart of the city, pairing world-class cuts with an extensive wine program that earned the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence in 2025.
Bon Appétit has described the fare here as "the kind you'll want to go back for again and again" — a sentiment that captures the appeal of a steakhouse that takes its American classics seriously without overcomplicating them.
The steak selection anchors everything. Guests choose from Prime Ribeye in 14 or 18 oz. cuts, a 22 oz. bone-in Prime "Côte de Boeuf," a 28 oz. Prime Porterhouse, and a 32 oz. Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye for those who want something truly substantial. The Prime Filet Mignon comes in three sizes — 9, 12, or 16 oz. — while the Prime Bone-In Kansas City Strip and Prime New York Strip round out the core lineup. Every entrée arrives with a glazed carrot and a choice of baked potato, smashed potatoes, or skillet fried potatoes topped with sautéed onions and peppercorn gravy.
Beyond beef, the menu extends to a Veal Porterhouse Chop, Australian Rack of Lamb, Seared Duck Breast with Luxardo Cherry Sauce, and a Dry Aged Pork Tomahawk served with house-made applesauce. Cold Water South African Lobster Tails and a Prime Filet & Broiled Lobster combination speak to the kitchen's range within the American steakhouse tradition.
Starters worth noting include Seared Scallops with citrus beurre blanc, Nueske's bacon and Texas burnt honey, Prime Tenderloin Carpaccio with truffle oil and Hawaiian sea salt, and a Maryland-Style Crab Cake with honey mustard sauce.
General Manager Brooke Klag has been with Bob's OKC since it opened in January 2021, bringing 24 years of hospitality experience — 12 of them in fine dining — to the role. She grew up on a wheat and cattle farm in Okarche, Oklahoma, and her background in fine wine shapes the thoughtful, award-recognized list the restaurant maintains. That combination of local roots and professional depth gives the room a warmth that complements its elegant setting.
The restaurant accommodates private events with customizable seating arrangements, a 60-inch TV and audiovisual services, and the option of a customized or à la carte menu — all supported by the same award-winning wine list available in the main dining room.
