The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

Where Fashion Meets the Table

Opened in 2024, Armani/Ristorante New York brings Giorgio Armani's celebrated culinary vision to Madison Avenue — one of the world's most stylish addresses. Housed within the brand's sweeping 97,000-square-foot flagship building, which also encompasses private residences and boutiques for Giorgio Armani and Armani/Casa, the restaurant takes its place alongside illustrious neighbors such as Louis Vuitton's first Le Café in the U.S. and the storied Polo Bar. For Armani, this is far from a first foray into hospitality — the group has been refining its restaurant philosophy since its Paris debut in 1998, and today counts over 26 venues across three continents. Yet the New York outpost is rendered at a distinctly Manhattan scale.

A Space as Considered as the Clothes

The 40-seat dining room is a masterclass in restrained drama. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with light, while cool gray chairs and booths surround immaculate tablecloths. Striking green lacquer accents, glinting mirrored walls, and eucalyptus wood details lend warmth and depth. A five-seat champagne bar, positioned behind oversized windows overlooking Madison Avenue shoppers, sets a suitably chic tone from the moment guests arrive. A more intimate room is available for special occasions. Personal touches — objets d'art collected from Giorgio Armani's own travels and a pasta recipe drawn directly from his kitchen — weave a familial warmth through the otherwise sophisticated surroundings.

Executive Chef Daniele Castellano

At the heart of the kitchen is Executive Chef Daniele Castellano, whose impressive résumé includes Jean-Georges at The Connaught in London, the Four Seasons Hotel Milan, and Nobu Armani in Milan. His Italian cuisine honors traditional recipes and culinary techniques while embracing a modern New York twist. A gorgeously plated scallop carpaccio accented with edible marigold and an unforgettable sea urchin linguine exemplify the kitchen's ability to balance sophistication with soul.

Cocktails with Character

The bar program proves equally inventive. The Antarctic Martini — crafted with Chopin Family Reserve vodka, chilled to -40 degrees Fahrenheit and finished with a drop of Sicilian olive oil — is as precise as a tailored suit. The striking blue Negroni, infused with blue butterfly tea gin, offers a feast for the eyes before the first sip.
