Set within the White Elephant Nantucket at 50 Easton Street, the Brant Point Grill looks out over the island's bustling harbor from both an awning-covered deck and an elegant dining room. The setting is quintessentially Nantucket — ocean breezes, working-harbor views, and a menu that leans hard into what this stretch of New England does best: exceptional seafood and well-aged beef.

New England Fare, Done with Precision

The kitchen draws from regionally inspired traditions, turning local catches and quality proteins into dishes that feel at home on the island without being predictable. Raw bar staples anchor the menu — Great Point oysters served with cucumber mignonette, little neck clams in a pork belly bisque — alongside more composed plates. The Furikake Tuna layers Atlantic tuna with pineapple relish, wasabi crème fraîche, and ponzu over sushi rice, while the Seafood Ceviche brings halibut and shrimp into a ginger-lemongrass-citrus marinade with crispy prawn chips. The famous Nantucket Lobster Roll — Maine lobster salad, Boston Bibb lettuce, lemon mayo — remains the signature crowd draw.

On the steakhouse side, a Prime Ribeye arrives with charred fingerling potatoes, long stem artichokes, and veal demi, and a Tenderloin of Beef comes finished with foie gras demi. Comfort-forward options like the BPG Signature Lobster Mac & Cheese (Maine lobster, Vermont cheddar, rigatoni) and Short Rib Pappardelle with shaved truffles round out a menu that covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch.

A recently renovated lounge — with a new bar area and fresh furnishings — makes for an easy stop before dinner or a casual bar meal on its own. The deck, also newly updated with a canopy and expanded bar, is the place for lobster rolls and summer breezes all day long. Specialty cocktails lean into local character: the Nantucket Mule pairs cranberry vodka with ginger beer, while the signature Lobster Bloody Mary has become a brunch institution.

The wine program earned a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, a distinction that reflects serious depth across bubbles, whites, and reds — from William Fèvre Chablis and Far Niente Chardonnay to Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon and Etude Pinot Noir. A rotating selection of New England craft beers, including local Cisco Brewers from the island itself, keeps things grounded.
