Zaytinya at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach brings one of America's most celebrated Mediterranean concepts to Miami Beach. Conceived by chef and humanitarian José Andrés, the restaurant draws on his deep knowledge of Mediterranean cooking — years of research and travel through Turkey, Greece, and Lebanon — and translates that into a menu of shared small plates served in a sleek, modern setting right on Lincoln Road.

The Mezze Philosophy

The format is mezze: abundant, convivial, built for sharing. Rather than a single plate, guests move through a spread of authentic and inventive small dishes rooted in Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese traditions. Creative cocktails and a carefully chosen selection of Mediterranean wines complete the table. Wine Spectator recognized the program with its Award of Excellence in 2024 — a nod to how seriously the team takes what goes in the glass alongside what goes on the plate.

The Team Behind the Table

Head Chef Sergio Galindo leads the kitchen, executing a menu that balances tradition with the kind of culinary curiosity that has always defined Andrés' approach. General Manager Bozidar Zagorcic oversees the floor, where the setting is contemporary and unhurried — the right pace for the mezze experience. The restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making it one of the more versatile destinations on Miami Beach.
