The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

A Family Name, a Venetian Legacy

At the corner of Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Coral Gables, Tullio carries the name of a man who earned a singular reputation in Venice: Tullio Zanon, known in the city's Rialto fish market as the jeweler of seafood. His name still echoes through those stalls today, and his descendants — Lucio and Sebastiano Zanon — have built this restaurant as a living tribute to his craft and his spirit of hospitality.

The guiding philosophy is l'arte del Benvenire — the Italian art of being beautifully welcomed. That intention shapes everything, from the white linens and fresh flowers to the Murano glass accents and framed scenes of Italy that line the walls.

The Room and the Terrace

Inside, the atmosphere is one of quiet, unhurried elegance. Outside, beneath the historic arches of the building, a covered terrace catches the coastal breeze year-round — a rare pleasure in Miami that makes al fresco dining feel genuinely refined rather than incidental. Business casual dress is the standard, a small but telling signal about the kind of experience the Zanons are curating.

Mediterranean Cooking, Tableside Tradition

The kitchen draws on Mediterranean ingredients, with many dishes finished tableside in true Venetian fashion — a practice that turns dinner into something to watch as much as to taste. The chef works daily with fresh ingredients, and the menu reflects the seasonal rhythm that Italian cooking demands. An Italian Summer Menu runs at $29 for lunch and $60 for dinner, making the fine dining format genuinely accessible.

A Wine List with a Story

Sebastiano Zanon oversees a wine program that spans more than 300 labels, Italian-forward but reaching across the world's wine regions. As sommeliers, Lucio and Sebastiano travel to Italy annually to taste with winemakers and owners at estates including Villa Sparina, Ca' del Bosco, Castello Banfi, and Marchesi di Barolo. Their philosophy is direct: we don't sell the wine, we sell the story behind the bottle.

Recognition Well Earned

Gambero Rosso — Italy's most authoritative food and wine guide — awarded Tullio 2 Forks in its 2025 edition of Top Italian Restaurants, placing it among the best Italian tables in the United States. That recognition sits alongside honors from Miami New Times, Coral Gables Magazine, the Accademia della Cucina Italiana, and the International Food and Wine Society, among others. For a restaurant rooted in Venetian tradition, earning the approval of Italian institutions carries particular weight.
