The Chef Behind the Kitchen

At the heart of the kitchen is Corporate Executive Chef Wladimir Arévalo, whose path to Miami Greek cuisine is anything but straightforward. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Arévalo grew up watching his mother cook family meals — a formative influence that eventually led him to professional kitchens across South Florida. His résumé includes stints at Doya, Motek, and Baleen, and during his time at Doya, the modern Aegean restaurant earned a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide. That same precision and creative range now shapes the menus at Kiki on the River, where his global influences — Venezuelan roots, Middle Eastern technique, Mediterranean sensibility — converge into something distinctly his own.
