CASA NEOS

Mediterranean cuisine, waterfront energy, and multi-level dining on the Miami River — CASA NEOS earns Wine Spectator recognition for its ambitious wine program.

The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

A Waterfront Address with Mediterranean Conviction

On the banks of the Miami River, CASA NEOS occupies a two-level restaurant with a Beach Club, a Lounge, and a members-only rooftop — each space designed to carry the day from a relaxed afternoon into a charged evening. The concept is rooted in what the restaurant calls kairos: being in the right place at the right time. It's an ambitious claim, but the setting earns it. Guests can arrive by boat, docking directly through the Beach Club, which gives the whole experience an unhurried, coastal logic that most urban restaurants can't replicate.

The wine list earned a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 2025 — recognition that reflects genuine depth and curation, not just a long list. It's the kind of program that rewards guests who linger over a second bottle.

The Kitchen

Mediterranean cuisine here is interpreted broadly and confidently. Corporate Chef Adabis Castro oversees a menu that moves from classic mezze — hummus with tahini and EVOO, baba ganoush with pomegranate and mint, muhammara built on fire-roasted peppers and walnut dukkah — through a raw bar stocked with delicate crudos and carpaccios. Seabass Carpaccio del Mare arrives with basil oil and Espelette pepper; Gambero Rosso Carpaccio is finished with a citrus-saffron emulsion and Hojiblanca olive oil. The Bluefin Tuna Crudo with lemon gel and orange zest is a study in restraint.

Grilled fish anchors the main courses: whole branzino with spiced salsa verde, whole seabream marinated in basil pistou, Dover sole, Florida red snapper. Paellas are made with Bomba rice and slow-cooked sofrito, finished over open flame for the socarrat — the crisp, caramelized base that defines the dish. Pasta runs from a black truffle linguini shaved tableside to a lobster spaghetti built on San Marzano tomato and bisque emulsion.

Produce is sourced from local and regional small-farm producers, a commitment that shows in the freshness of the raw preparations especially.

The Experience

An Epicure tasting menu at $155 offers a structured progression through the kitchen's range, while a seasonal prix-fixe at $75 captures the spirit of summer evenings on the water. Golden Hour on Tuesday through Thursday brings sommelier-selected wines and light bites at the bar, walk-ins welcome.

The dress code — smart for dinner, sporty chic for brunch — signals that CASA NEOS takes atmosphere seriously without tipping into stiff formality. It's a place built for conversation, for celebrating, for the kind of evening that extends naturally from one course to the next.
