The story
No.10 is a contemporary Italian restaurant on West 3rd Street in Los Angeles, built around a simple but demanding idea: bring the full breadth of Italy's regional cooking traditions to a single, modern room. The menu draws from multiple Italian regions, shifting with the seasons, shaped by an Italian chef who blends his gastronomic upbringing with the produce and rhythms of Southern California.
The restaurant takes its name — and its spirit — from Alessandro Del Piero, the Juventus and Italian national team captain who wore the number 10 shirt for nearly two decades. Born in Conegliano, Italy, Del Piero is a FIFA World Cup winner (2006), holds the all-time records for appearances and goals at Juventus, and earned 21 trophies across a career spanning 854 matches and 344 goals. When he settled in Los Angeles, he channeled the same focus and precision he brought to football into creating a place where authentic Italian cuisine could be experienced without pretense.
His vision was straightforward: a slick, modern space with an intimate yet energetic atmosphere, where the food is the main event and the company does the rest.
The menu is described as upmarket and multi-regional — the result of years of traveling through Italy, eating in each distinct culinary zone, and understanding what makes each locale's cooking irreplaceable. The chef's Italian roots and American experience meet on the plate, producing a synthesis that feels both genuine and of this city. An international cocktail menu and a wine list round out the table.
The space itself offers an indoor-outdoor atmosphere, and the room is flexible enough to host an intimate dinner for two or a private celebration for up to 120 seated guests. The patio accommodates 40 for dinner; a fully private booth area seats 30; a more intimate private room seats 12 with a VIP package. For larger events — weddings, corporate receptions, film shoots — the entire restaurant opens up for 240 standing guests.
Gambero Rosso, Italy's most authoritative guide to Italian cuisine worldwide, has recognized No.10 with a Fork distinction — a meaningful acknowledgment that the Italian cooking here meets a standard that the guide's editors take seriously. For a restaurant rooted in multi-regional Italian cuisine far from Italy, that recognition carries real weight.
Whether it's a weeknight dinner, Sunday brunch, or a private celebration, No.10 delivers on its promise: sophisticated, genuine Italian in one of Los Angeles's most lived-in neighborhoods.
