Ocean Prime

Prime seafood, aged steaks, and a Wine Spectator-awarded wine list at 63 CityCenter on the Las Vegas Strip.

The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

At the iconic corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue, Ocean Prime occupies over 14,000 square feet of 63 CityCenter, making it one of the most substantial dining destinations on the Strip. A nearly 2,500-square-foot rooftop terrace, three bars, and three private dining rooms give the space a range of registers — from an animated lounge scene to quieter, more intimate corners suited to a long dinner.

The Space and the Atmosphere

The restaurant's scale is matched by its energy. More than 400 seats spread across a setting designed to feel vibrant without being loud, and the service philosophy is described as "truly genuine hospitality" — a phrase the team clearly takes seriously. Valet parking is available directly off Harmon Avenue, and the location between the Cosmopolitan and Aria makes it a natural stop before or after an evening on the Strip.

What's on the Plate

Ocean Prime's identity sits at the intersection of prime seafood and steakhouse cooking, with Italian and French influences threading through the menu. The New Year's Eve tasting menu offers a clear window into the kitchen's range: a Smoking Scallop Crudo with pomegranate seeds, jalapeño vinaigrette, and caviar opens proceedings, followed by Toro Carpaccio with beet and goat cheese mousse and yuzu vinaigrette. A Lobster Ravioli in white wine lemon garlic butter with lobster roe bridges the Italian thread, before an Australian Wagyu Filet arrives with creamy polenta, baby fennel, and aged balsamic reduction. The meal closes with a dark Valrhona chocolate torte dusted in gold leaf — a dessert that reads the room correctly.

The everyday menu follows the same surf-and-turf logic, and the lounge offers half-price bites and signature cocktails during weekday happy hour from 3 to 6 pm. Signature drinks like the Berries & Bubbles and the Prime Manhattan have become regulars at all three bars.

Recognition and the Wine Program

Wine Spectator awarded Ocean Prime Las Vegas its Best of Award of Excellence in 2024 — recognition that reflects the depth and curation of a list built to pair with everything from a delicate crudo to a Wagyu filet. The New Year's Eve pairings alone span Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, Meursault from Albert Bichot, O'Shaughnessy Napa Cabernet, and a 1985 Kopke Vintage Port — a range that earns the accolade rather than just displaying it.

Private Dining

For groups, the options are genuinely flexible. The Harmon Room seats 50 and stands 75; the rooftop Terrace handles 100 seated. Partial and full buyouts are available, making Ocean Prime a practical choice for corporate events and celebrations that need both scale and quality.
