Mott 32 at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

The first US outpost of Hong Kong's acclaimed Mott 32 brings authentic Cantonese cuisine and stunning design to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

Where Hong Kong Meets Las Vegas

Opened in December 2018, Mott 32 at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas holds the distinction of being the brand's first location in the United States — its sister restaurants operate in Hong Kong and Vancouver. The concept centers on a diverse collection of regional Chinese cooking, with Cantonese cuisine at its heart alongside dishes rooted in Szechuan and Beijing traditions. Dim sum, Peking duck, and a broad range of signature plates define the menu, available across lunch and dinner service.

A Room Worth Arriving Early For

Designer Joyce Wang conceived an interior that layers industrial New York references over traditional Chinese motifs — a combination that produces something genuinely unlike any other dining room on the Las Vegas Strip. The entrance is marked by a grand chandelier assembled from hundreds of metal chains and rippled glass shades, a signature fixture shared across all Mott 32 locations worldwide. Beyond the main dining room lies the Boom Boom Room, a more intimate enclave where a feather-adorned chandelier, copper tiles with a warm golden cast, and onyx panels give the space an entirely different personality.

The Duck Demands Planning

One dish has become the standard-bearer for the Mott 32 experience: the apple-roasted duck. The preparation takes 48 hours, which means it must be pre-ordered — a detail worth knowing well before your reservation. It is the kind of dish that shapes how a meal is remembered.

Recognition That Holds Up

The accolades surrounding Mott 32 are substantial. Forbes Travel Guide has recognized it, Desert Companion named it Strip Restaurant of the Year, Wine Spectator awarded it a 2020 Best of Award of Excellence, and the Las Vegas Review-Journal ranked it a 2025 Silver Winner for best Chinese food in the city. For Cantonese cuisine of this caliber in a resort setting, the recognition is consistent and well-earned.
