The story
Situated inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on the southern end of the Strip, Momofuku Las Vegas brings chef and founder David Chang's signature approach to Asian cuisine into one of the most vibrant dining cities in the world. The menu draws continuously from three culinary traditions — American, Korean, and Japanese — and the result is a kitchen that resists easy categorization while remaining immediately satisfying.
The wine program has earned a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 2025, a recognition that reflects the seriousness with which the restaurant approaches its full beverage list, which spans cocktails, sake, and beer alongside a considered selection of bottles.
The format here is genuinely flexible. Lunch, brunch, dinner, and a daily Social Hour from 3 to 5 pm give guests multiple entry points. The menu is organized to match — a Raw Bar section opens with Kanpachi Crudo dressed with chili jam, lime, and fish sauce, and a Chirashi Bowl built on market fish and shiro ponzu. The iconic Pork Belly Buns, served with hoisin, scallion, and cucumber, remain a throughline of the Momofuku identity, while the Caviar Bun — fried chicken, crème fraîche, and chives — adds a more indulgent note.
Noodles are a natural strength: Pork Ramen with pork belly, pork shoulder, and poached egg sits alongside a Cold Sesame Noodle with pickled vegetables and lime. For larger gatherings, the family-style Bo Ssäm — a roasted pork shoulder served with rice, kimchi, and ssäm sauce for four to six — is one of the most compelling reasons to come with a group, as is the 5 Spice Roasted Duck with crispy duck rice and crêpes.
The restaurant accommodates everything from a quick drink at the Peach Bar to a full private event. Business lunches, corporate dinners, birthday celebrations, and holiday parties can all be arranged, with dedicated private dining rooms available for larger groups. Walk-ins are welcome alongside reservations, and the room is fully wheelchair accessible.
Momofuku Las Vegas is one of the few spots on the Strip where the Asian cuisine is grounded in genuine culinary conviction rather than concept alone — and the Wine Spectator recognition only underscores that this is a kitchen and a cellar both worth taking seriously.
