Capa

Capa's 17th-floor rooftop at Four Seasons Orlando blends Spanish tapas, prime grilled cuts, and Magic Kingdom fireworks views in one striking setting.

The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

A Rooftop Stage Set in Crimson and Black

Step out of the elevator on the 17th floor of Four Seasons Resort Orlando and the room stops you cold. Pitch-black walls are lit almost entirely by a sweeping art installation by Dutch artist Peter Genetenaar — a vast field of crimson that evokes a matador's cape and spans the entire ceiling. The name Capa, Spanish for cape, earns its meaning the moment you walk in.

Forbes Travel Guide singles out this visual drama as the restaurant's opening statement, and it is hard to argue otherwise. But the room is only part of the story.

Spanish-Influenced Cooking with Florida Roots

Capa's Michelin-recommended kitchen anchors itself in Spanish-influenced cuisine while drawing freely on Florida's larder. The menu moves between fresh Florida seafood, carefully composed small plates, and prime grilled cuts — all finished over a wood-burning grill that guests can watch through an open kitchen. Signature cuts include a 32-ounce Porterhouse from Creekstone Farms in Arkansas City, Kansas, and a 30-day dry-aged ribeye from Demkota Ranch.

The rhythm of a meal here is deliberately unhurried. Tapas arrive in waves, with natural pauses built in so diners can step onto the expansive outdoor terrace and watch the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks — a detail that elevates an already strong dinner into something genuinely memorable.

Drinks, Sharing Vessels, and the Communal Table

An extensive wine list runs to more than 50 Spanish selections, and twelve signature cocktails round out the bar program. Two of those cocktails — Agua de Valencia and Robujito — are served in porróns, traditional Spanish vessels with a long spout designed for passing around the table. It is a small touch that reinforces Capa's communal spirit.

The Capa GinTonic, made with Caorunn Gin and Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic, garnished with citrus and botanicals and poured over an ice sphere, has become a signature in its own right. Wine Enthusiast magazine has listed Capa among the Best 100 Wine Restaurants in the United States, a recognition that reflects the seriousness of the cellar.

Private Dining and Live Music

Two private dining rooms, each accommodating up to 36 guests, make Capa a practical choice for private parties alongside its reputation as a dinner destination. On Wednesday and Saturday evenings, a live Spanish guitarist plays through the dinner service, adding warmth to the already atmospheric space. Dinner is served nightly, making it a natural anchor for guests spending several nights at the resort.

Capa immediately takes you aback with its pitch-black walls colored only by the vibrant art installation that resembles the crimson cape of a matador. This stunning red piece by Dutch artist Peter Genetenaar spans the entire ceiling and serves as a bold focal point in this dinner-only restaurant.Knowing guests stay at the property for three to four nights on average, it’s Wancha’s aim to lure them to Capa each night for dinner, and so a variety of dining experiences are rolled into one.The feast gradually ebbs and flows as each series of tapas arrives, with pauses to give guests the opportunity to step outside on the patio for the nightly fireworks shows. An extensive, wine list (50-plus selections from Spain) and 12 signature cocktails punctuate the culinary offerings. Aligned well with Capa’s communal vibe, two cocktails (Agua de Valencia and Robujito) are served in sharable porrons, vessels similar to a wine decanter with a long spout.
