A South Florida Waterfront Destination with a Story Behind It

1000 North came to life through a shared conviction: that northern Palm Beach County deserved the kind of dining experience people typically travel to Miami or New York to find. Developer Ira Fenton and former New York Giant Tucker Frederickson — the team behind The Bear's Club and The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa in Jupiter — assembled a remarkable group of founding partners, including Michael Jordan, Ernie Els, Marvin Shanken, and Bill Terlato, among others. Their goal was to bring something genuinely fresh to Jupiter, and to anchor it with one of the most striking waterfront settings in South Florida.

The result is a restaurant and club perched at the edge of the Jupiter Inlet, with sweeping views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the iconic Jupiter Lighthouse framing every meal. Guests arrive by car — or by boat, docking at the restaurant's 350-foot dock.

Four Distinct Spaces, One Kitchen

1000 North is not a single room but four thoughtfully designed dining environments, each with its own character.

The main restaurant sets the tone: elegant, gracious, and focused on modern American regional cuisine — steaks, seafood, and seasonally driven dishes — paired with handcrafted cocktails and a wine list that earned the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. The Tavern offers a sleeker, more casual counterpart, with a dedicated bar menu that celebrates the same contemporary American cooking in a livelier setting. The Terrace brings it all outdoors under a pergola, with tropical décor and direct water views that make it a natural choice for sunset gatherings.

The jewel of the property is The Club Lounge on the second floor — an invitation-only members' space offering a curated menu, a private dining room, a chef's table, concierge services, and priority reservations.

The Team in the Kitchen

Executive Chef Jeffrey Perry leads the culinary program. A Massachusetts native with more than two decades of experience at high-end establishments — including Smith & Wollensky and Legal Sea Foods — Perry joined 1000 North in 2018 as a line cook and rose to executive chef by 2021. His approach centers on outstanding execution and continuous refinement, with a menu that reflects the best of contemporary American seafood and steakhouse traditions while staying attuned to culinary trends.

Claudia McCaig, the restaurant's very first employee, has shaped the membership experience since the restaurant's conception in 2016, ensuring that The Club Lounge remains one of Palm Beach County's most distinctive private dining offerings.
