Pampas Steakhouse

Authentic Argentinian cuisine, premium woodfire-grilled steaks, and a Wine Spectator award-winning wine list in Johns Creek, Georgia.

The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

Pampas Steakhouse brings authentic Argentinian cuisine to Johns Creek, Georgia, with a commitment to the traditional methods that define the style: steaks grilled over oak, woodfire, and a bank of hot coals. The result is a fine dining experience rooted in technique rather than trend, set in wood-paneled quarters that feel both upscale and genuinely welcoming.

The Kitchen and the Team

Executive Chef Rodolfo Ramon leads the kitchen, supported by Corporate Executive Chef Thomas Minchella and Corporate Chef Luis Ramirez. Their menu stays true to the Argentinian steakhouse tradition while offering enough range to satisfy a full table. Signature cuts include the "Brick" Filet — a 14-oz center cut finished under a brick for an even, caramelized crust — alongside a Bone-in Filet, a 24-oz Bone-in Ribeye, the Tomahawk, and the Ribeye Delmonico. For those who want the full gaucho spread, the Mixed Grill brings together tablita, lollipop lamb chops, chorizo, and pork chop in a single presentation.

Beyond the Steak

Starters lean into the Argentinian pantry: house-made empanadas with fillings like beef tenderloin and ham & cheese, grilled provolone with prosciutto di Parma, and Argentinean pork sausage. The raw bar adds a Peruvian ceviche and a full seafood tower. Desserts close the meal with distinctly South American notes — the Chocotorta, an Argentinean-style tiramisu made with dulce de leche mousse and espresso-soaked chocolate wafers, and Dulce de Leche Crepes are standouts.

The Wine List

The wine program has earned consistent recognition from Wine Spectator, including the Best of Award of Excellence — a distinction the restaurant has maintained across multiple consecutive years. The list draws from the finest wine regions worldwide, and the restaurant offers a Wednesday promotion of 50% off bottles under $250, making it an unusually accessible entry point into a serious cellar.

Recognition and Setting

Zagat has placed Pampas among the highest-scoring steakhouses in the United States, appearing on four separate lists covering Best Service, Best Décor, Best Steakhouse, and Best Food in Atlanta. The dining room reflects that reputation: wood-paneled, polished, and managed with attentive service. Private dining rooms, coordinated by Danielle Allen, accommodate everything from intimate dinners to larger banquet events. A dress code — collared shirts and jackets strongly encouraged — sets the tone before guests even sit down.
