The Grill side operates as a full-service American restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a commitment to local ingredients and dishes that bridge tradition and the present. The Silver Dollar Bar, open daily from 11am to 10pm for food (bar until 11pm), has a different energy entirely — streetside windows perfect for people-watching in downtown Jackson, and a menu built around signature items like burgers, elk gyros, and the house corn chowder. No reservations are taken in the bar; it runs first-come, first-served, and guests must be 21 to enter after 6pm.

What to Eat and Drink

The American cooking here leans into regional character. Sunday brings prime rib specials with the chef's choice of sides. Weekday lunches offer a soup-and-half-sandwich pairing that keeps things honest and affordable. Daily happy hour runs from 4 to 6pm, with Margarita Mondays and a rotating whiskey feature on Wednesdays rounding out a drinks program that earned its Wine Spectator recognition.

The Silver Dollar Showroom, inside the bar, serves as Jackson's premier downtown music venue, hosting local and regional bands on a regular schedule — making this one of the few places in town where a serious dinner and a live set are equally within reach on the same evening.
