The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

A Restaurant That Takes Fine Dining Seriously

Inside Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Victoria & Albert's operates on a different register from anything else on Walt Disney World property — or, frankly, most of Florida. The room draws from Queen Victoria's Jubilee aesthetic: shimmering chandelier crystals, Victorian-inspired murals, delicate lace and embroidery details. The atmosphere is hushed and deliberate, built for an evening that unfolds slowly and on purpose.

The recognition is substantial. Victoria & Albert's has held a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating since 2018, earned a AAA Five Diamond Award continuously since 2000, and added a MICHELIN Star in 2024 — the same year Maître d'Hôtel Israel Pérez was recognized individually with the MICHELIN Guide Florida Service Award. The Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence rounds out a list of honors that reflects decades of sustained commitment.

The People Behind the Plates

Chef de Cuisine Miguel Santeliz has led the kitchen since 2022. His two-decade Disney career included stops at Topolino's Terrace and the Yachtsman Steakhouse before arriving at Victoria & Albert's. He previously developed menus for Remy aboard Disney Cruise Line, collaborating with three-MICHELIN-star Chef Arnaud Lallement of L'Assiette Champenoise — experience that informs his approach to modern American cuisine built around seasonal ingredients and elevated technique.

Pastry Chef Ally Rogers, a third-generation pastry chef, brings a classical foundation to contemporary dessert work, overseeing pastry development across Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa while leading her own team at Victoria & Albert's.

Maître d'Hôtel Israel Pérez oversees both the wine program — more than 500 selections from 35 regions, including bottles dating to the early 1900s — and the orchestration of service that puts two dedicated waitstaff at each table.

Three Ways to Experience It

Guests choose from three distinct settings. The Dining Room seats guests beneath a grand rotunda dome styled after a Victorian garden, where seven- and ten-course tasting menus are offered alongside optional wine or zero-proof pairings.

Queen Victoria's Room is the most intimate option — limited to four couples per evening. The ten-course menu here comes with French trolley service and tableside preparation, a format that slows the meal further and adds a layer of theater that feels earned rather than performative.

The Chef's Table, accommodating up to six guests, places diners steps from the kitchen itself. The experience opens with a champagne toast with the chef and proceeds through ten courses prepared in full view of the culinary team at work.

Throughout any of these experiences, the details accumulate: live harp music, an upholstered footstool for handbags, a pashmina offered if the room runs cool, a rotating selection of breads and butters between courses, a personalized menu to take home, and a wooden box of chocolates from the restaurant's resident chocolatier. None of it is accidental.
