From Butcher Shop to Premier Steakhouse

The story of Perry's Steakhouse & Grille begins in 1979, when Bob Perry opened a modest meat market in Houston. It was a neighborhood butcher shop, nothing more — but it built a loyal following on the strength of its selections and straight-forward service. In 1986, Bob's son Chris Perry joined the business and persuaded his father to add dining tables. That small decision changed everything. The dining room proved so popular that Chris went on to open Perry's Steakhouse & Grille in 1993, carrying the same butcher-shop commitment to quality into a full fine dining setting.

Today, Perry's operates more than twenty steakhouse locations across the country, and the San Antonio location on La Cantera Parkway stands as one of the group's flagship addresses.
