Where Plants Meet Purpose

Little Saint is a 100% plant-based restaurant, coffee bar, wine lounge, cocktail bar, and events venue in downtown Healdsburg, at the heart of Sonoma County wine country. Born from a passionate collaboration between founders Laurie and Jeff Ubben, Executive Director Jenny Hess, and Creative Director Ken Fulk, the project is guided by a clear set of values: climate justice, animal welfare, and kindness for all beings — expressed through every dish, every pour, and every event on the calendar.

The kitchen, led by Director of Culinary Deborah Mullin, frames its plant-based menu not around restriction but around abundance — the bounty of local farms translated through creative hands. The pastry program is overseen by Dominick Miller-Luna, while Wine Program Manager Laurel Livezey and Beverage Manager Daniel O'Brien shape a drinks list serious enough to earn Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence in 2023. That recognition reflects the depth and care behind a wine program that extends well beyond the dining room into a dedicated wine shop and a members' wine club.

A Place That Does More Than Serve Dinner

Open seven days a week from morning through evening, Little Saint moves through the day with intention. Weekday rituals give the place its rhythm: complimentary drip coffee with a pastry on Tuesday mornings, all-day happy hour on Wednesdays, free live music upstairs every Thursday at 7 PM (no reservation, no ticket required), and 20% off bottles from the wine shop on Fridays.

The events calendar reaches further still — winemaker meet-and-greets, documentary screenings, artist conversations, book signings, and community fundraisers have all taken place in the wine lounge and upstairs spaces. Little Saint also connects with a working farm, Little Saint Farm, whose vegetables and cut flowers appear at local farmers markets and feed directly into the plant-based kitchen.
