The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

A Coastal Table Worth Seeking Out

On Main Street in Chatham, Massachusetts, Cuvée Bistro occupies the dining room of Chatham Inn, a Relais & Châteaux property that holds a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star rating. The restaurant earns that recognition through a combination of thoughtfully sourced ingredients, expressive American cuisine, and warm hospitality that feels genuinely personal rather than performative.

What Arrives at the Table

The menu changes with the seasons, but the ambition stays consistent. Expect dishes like tuna and hamachi with yuzu basil and Calvisius caviar, New England lobster paired with gnocchi, and Berkshire pork belly alongside chanterelles and local clams — preparations that draw on the region's coastal larder while reaching further when the dish calls for it. Desserts hold their own: coconut cake with pink guava and honey cream, or Guanaja chocolate mousse with espresso fudge, are the kind of finishes that make the meal linger in memory.

Tables are set with Villeroy & Boch china, Schott Zwiesel crystal, and Frette linens — details that signal the kitchen's seriousness without announcing it loudly.

The Wine Program

Cuvée's wine list has earned a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, and it shows. Thirty-two fine pours are available by the glass, with more than 150 selections by the bottle — a range that gives both the curious and the committed plenty to explore across a meal.

The Chef's Table

For something closer and more immersive, the chef's table for two is available by reservation. A private bar-height table positioned within the kitchen's orbit gives access to a 10- to 12-course menu prepared exclusively for the guests seated there. Reservations open 90 days in advance and are required — a detail worth planning around.

Cuvée Bistro serves breakfast daily and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, making it a natural anchor for any stay on Cape Cod.
