The story
On Restaurant Row in the Dr. Phillips neighborhood of Orlando, Chima Steakhouse sets a deliberate tone from the moment you walk in. The space is modern and elegant, anchored by a striking glass-walled wine cellar that signals the seriousness with which the restaurant approaches both food and drink. That commitment earned Chima Orlando a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2024 — recognition that reflects not just the depth of the wine list, but the overall caliber of the experience.
The heart of the menu is the Brazilian rodízio, the traditional style of service in which cuts of meat are carved tableside in continuous succession. Chima offers several ways to engage with this format. The Complete Rodízio is the full expression — an uninterrupted parade of premium meats accompanied by the Gourmet Salad Bar. For those who prefer a more measured approach, the Select Rodízio offers a curated selection, and the Gourmet Salad Bar is available on its own as a lighter option. The kitchen also accommodates Halal-certified meats for guests who require them.
Lunch is served on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with the weekend format offering either the Gourmet Salad Bar or the Complete Rodízio at a separate price point. Children six and under dine complimentary; ages seven to eleven receive half off.
The Bar & Lounge operates throughout service hours and offers handcrafted cocktails, fine wines, and a selection of appetizers and small plates. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., with live music adding to the atmosphere. Valet parking is complimentary.
Chima describes its service philosophy as "impeccable customer service tailored for business and celebration" — language that reflects a room equally at home with a corporate dinner and a milestone birthday. The restaurant offers a complimentary Complete Rodízio to guests dining during their birthday month, a gesture consistent with the attentive, occasion-minded approach that defines the Brazilian steakhouse tradition at its best.
