Inspired by Auguste Rodin's words — "The artist must create a spark before he can make a fire" — FIRE Restaurant & Lounge at the ART Hotel on North Broadway brings that philosophy to the table in every sense. The restaurant's identity is inseparable from its setting: original sculptures, large-scale installations, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows framing the Denver skyline make the dining room itself feel like a gallery you can eat in.

Contemporary American with a Local Sensibility

The menu is rooted in contemporary American cooking, built around market-fresh, farm-to-table ingredients sourced from local Colorado purveyors. The kitchen's stated aim is authentic and artistic — flavors that feel considered rather than formulaic. That same spirit carries through from breakfast and weekend brunch all the way to dinner, with a lounge and terrace program that keeps things lively between meals.

The Terrace and the Lounge

The FIRE Terrace operates year-round as an open-air bar above Broadway, where cast bronze sculptures share space with crackling fire features, couches, umbrellas, and live entertainment. The menu up top leans into seasonal bites alongside creative cocktails — a genuine mile-high perch that captures both the mountain-town and cosmopolitan sides of Denver. Inside, a striking glass installation by Larry Bell separates and simultaneously connects FIRE Lounge and the main dining room, creating a seamless flow from cocktail hour into dinner.

The wine program earned FIRE a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, a recognition that reflects genuine depth and curation rather than a perfunctory list. It pairs naturally with a contemporary American menu that invites exploration across courses.
