The story
Facci Ristorante is owner Gino Palma's modern love letter to his roots in coastal Italy — a concept that brings new energy to old-world dishes across three vibrant Maryland locations: Baltimore's Inner Harbor, Turf Valley in Ellicott City, and Maple Lawn in Laurel. The guiding philosophy is right there in the tagline: upscale Italian, casual fun. The wine program has earned a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, a recognition that speaks to the seriousness behind the approachable atmosphere.
The Italian menu spans the full day, from weekend brunch through dinner. Lunch brings handmade pastas, crisp Napoletana pizzas, and vibrant salads in an atmosphere that's stylish but never stiff — attentive service without the formality, whether the occasion is a business meeting or a spontaneous midday treat.
Dinner turns up the energy. Scratch-made pastas, slow-cooked sauces, fresh proteins, and perfectly-fired pizzas pay homage to Neapolitan roots, paired with expertly crafted cocktails. Weekend brunch leans playful: crab cake eggs benedict, strawberry Nutella Belgian waffle, and crepes florentine with fresh mozzarella, all available Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The space is well-decorated and lively — guests consistently note how beautiful and spotless it is. The weekly calendar keeps things interesting: Sundays at the Baltimore location bring live saxophone jazz from 3 to 6 p.m.; Wednesdays at Maple Lawn feature live acoustic music with outdoor seating; and every Tuesday, all locations offer half-priced bottled wines — a genuine draw for date nights and group gatherings alike.
Private parties, catering, and banqueting rooms round out the offering, making Facci a practical choice for celebrations as well as everyday Italian dining. A smart casual dress code is in effect at all locations.
