The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

Where the Supper Club Never Left

DineAmic Hospitality's Fioretta transports Chicago's Fulton Market district to a world that feels equal parts 1950s supper club and new-age Copacabana. Polished walnut paneling glows under handmade tinted crystal chandeliers, wall sconces cast warm light across the room, and at the center of it all, a custom-built white oak hearth anchors the open kitchen with flickering flames and drifting embers. The effect is opulent without being cold — a room that actually wants you to stay.

Chef Joe Rizza and the Hearth

Italian-American chef Joe Rizza leads the kitchen, and the solid-fuel hearth is his defining tool. Every steak is meticulously grilled over white oak, finished with Wisconsin grass-fed butter, and sourced exclusively from 100% All Natural Linz Heritage Black Angus Beef — humanely raised, no hormones or antibiotics. The Italian-American steakhouse format lets Rizza move fluidly between the two traditions: a 44oz Bistecca Alla Fiorentina for two sits alongside a 22oz Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye and a 34oz Tomahawk, while hand-cut filet mignon is available in both a 10oz signature and a 7oz petite cut.

The Italian side of the menu is equally deliberate. Pasta is made from scratch daily — Black Truffle Agnolotti with burrata and mascarpone cream, Lobster Diavolo in squid ink pasta with uni butter, Rigatoni Carbonara with guanciale and farm egg. Antipasti lean into classic Italian-American comfort: meatballs in house pomodoro, wood roasted oysters with parmesan garlic butter and Calabrian chili, Prosciutto di San Daniele with honeycrisp apple. The menu, as Fioretta puts it, strives to strike the perfect balance between nostalgia and innovation.

The Wine, the Music, the Experience

The cellar earned a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2023 — recognition that reflects a list spanning Barolo and Chianti Classico to Napa Cabernet and Burgundy Chardonnay, with reserve pours from Stag's Leap, Jordan, and beyond. Cocktail hour runs daily from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., and live music fills the bar Monday through Saturday, making Fioretta as much a destination for the evening as for the meal itself.

For something more intimate, the Chef's Table offers a hand-crafted five-course tasting menu with the kitchen team walking guests through each dish's inspiration and technique. Private dining is also available for larger gatherings. The dress code is sophisticated-casual — the room sets the tone, and guests are invited to match it.
