At the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive, THE Blvd Restaurant & Lounge occupies one of Beverly Hills' most storied addresses — the Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel. The hotel dates to 1928, and its art deco bones are still very much present in the dining room: lofty ceilings, warm proportions, and a bustling, convivial energy that draws in locals and world travelers in equal measure. The restaurant has been serving the community for nearly two decades, and that continuity shows in the confidence of the room.

Described by the restaurant itself as "a swanky California brasserie," THE Blvd operates in a register that is cosmopolitan but never stiff. Prime views over Wilshire and Rodeo Drive frame the experience whether you come for a leisurely breakfast, a power lunch, a post-shopping pause, or an evening out. The kitchen is led by Chef Colin Bedford, and produce is sourced from the local Santa Monica Farmers' Market — a commitment that keeps the California cuisine grounded in what is actually in season rather than what looks good on paper.

What's on the Table

The menu moves confidently across the day. Breakfast and brunch bring signature dishes like the Maine Lobster Roll Eggs Benedict — butter-poached lobster, poached hen eggs, asparagus, avocado, and hollandaise on sourdough — alongside the Wagyu Steak & Egg with chimichurri and red pepper romesco. The Avocado Elote & Crab Toast, built on gluten-free sourdough with Dungeness crab and charred corn, is another house signature.

Later in the day, the raw bar opens up with ice-cold oysters, chilled Gulf prawns, and a full seafood platter featuring lobster, crab claws, and tuna tartare. A caviar program — running from White Sturgeon through Oscietra — signals the level of ambition at play. The BLVD Burger, made with dry-aged bone marrow beef, bourbon pork bacon onion jam, and Gouda, anchors the more relaxed side of the menu without apology.

The wine program earned a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, a recognition that reflects the care taken with the list to match the breadth of the Californian cooking on offer.
