The story
Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse traces its origins to a father-and-son mission. National restaurateur Tilman Fertitta and his father Vic traveled across North America, studying what separates a truly great steakhouse from a merely good one. The answer, as they saw it, came down to four things: a carefully crafted menu, an extensive wine selection, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that manages to feel both elegant and genuinely comfortable. The Atlantic City location, at 1 Huron Blvd., carries that founding philosophy intact.
The wine list is not an afterthought here. Wine Spectator recognized Vic & Anthony's with its Best of Award of Excellence — a distinction that signals a collection curated with real depth and range, pairing thoughtfully with the menu's prime beef and fresh seafood. For guests who care about what's in the glass as much as what's on the plate, that credential matters.
The steakhouse menu centers on USDA Prime beef, with cuts ranging from filet mignon and prime New York strip to bone-in ribeyes and a 40 oz Tomahawk chop. A World of Wagyu section extends the offering further, drawing from Japanese prefectures and domestic ranches alike. Seafood holds its own alongside the beef — cold water rock lobster tail, Alaskan king crab legs, jumbo lump crab cake with chive beurre blanc, and a full seafood tower anchor that side of the menu. Starters like steak tartare, roasted bone marrow, and A5 Wagyu ribeye cap signal the kitchen's ambitions clearly.
Beyond the main dining room, Vic & Anthony's Atlantic City accommodates private gatherings with the same attention to detail that defines the broader experience. Whether a rehearsal dinner, a business luncheon, or a formal reception, the team is set up to handle it — cuisine, setting, and service included.
The room aims for what the founders called "the most spectacular dining environment you'll find anywhere" — a phrase that could easily read as overreach, except that the consistent recognition across the brand suggests the standard is genuinely maintained. Elegant without being stiff, the space is designed for occasions that deserve more than the ordinary.
