The Supper Club

The Supper Club on Amsterdam's Singel blends international fusion cuisine, signature beds, club nights and themed hotel rooms into one rule-breaking experience.

The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

Shoes Off, Expectations Left at the Door

On Amsterdam's historic Singel canal, The Supper Club operates on a simple but radical premise: sharing food and drinks to create social connections has been a proven formula since the Stone Age. What sets it apart is how far it takes that idea. Guests are invited to remove their shoes, recline on signature beds, and work through a 4, 5 or 6 course chef's menu of international fusion cuisine — all while setting aside etiquette and good table manners entirely. The instruction from the house is direct: just be you.

That spirit earned The Supper Club a place on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list back in 2002, a recognition that reflected how genuinely unlike anything else it was at the time — and still is.

A World, Not Just a Restaurant

SUPPER describes itself as a lifestyle and hospitality brand, and the breadth of what happens under that roof bears that out. After dinner, guests can move into one of the club nights held on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday — each a distinct concept, each designed to dissolve whatever expectations you arrived with.

The hotel extends the experience further. Themed rooms range from the Champagne suite to the Darkroom, and the evening can begin with an Espresso Martini at the cocktail bar before heading anywhere else. The through-line across all of it is immersion: the idea that a night at SUPPER should feel complete in itself.

On the Water and Beyond

For private events, The Supper Club operates a cruise on the Amsterdam canals, where the in-house team of chefs, artists and entertainers can cater to product launches, dinners, parties or weddings against the backdrop of the city skyline. The same fusion, international cuisine philosophy that drives the restaurant carries across to the water.

The result is a venue that resists easy categorisation — part restaurant, part club, part hotel, part event space — held together by a consistent commitment to surprising the people who walk through the door.
