Il Borro Tuscan Bistro opened in Dubai in 2017 with a clear purpose: to bring authentic Tuscan cuisine to the city without compromise. Set within Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel overlooking the Turtle Lagoon, the restaurant draws its identity directly from the Il Borro estate in the heart of Tuscany — a working farm whose biodynamic and organic principles shape what arrives on the plate. The philosophy is straightforward: ingredients grown with care, recipes rooted in tradition, a setting refined enough to honour both.

From the Estate to the Table

The farm-to-table commitment here is more than a tagline. Orto del Borro, the estate's own farm, employs biodynamic and organic farming to supply the wholesome ingredients that inspire the kitchen. Seasonal menus shift to reflect what the land offers, and the kitchen stays true to that rhythm — launching new dishes that pay tribute to authentic Tuscan recipes rather than reinterpreting them beyond recognition. During white truffle season, for instance, the menu has featured dishes such as tagliolini al tartufo bianco, agnolotti del plin, pizza al tartufo bianco, and filetto di vitello — a focused celebration of one of Tuscany's most prized ingredients. A dedicated vegan menu also showcases the versatility of plant-based cooking within the same regional framework.

The track record speaks clearly. Time Out Dubai has named Il Borro Tuscan Bistro "Best Italian" four times — in 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 — and the restaurant has taken the title of "Restaurant of the Year" at the same awards on three occasions. What's On Dubai has voted it Favourite Italian Restaurant multiple years running, with the public consistently placing it above a competitive field. Gambero Rosso, Italy's most authoritative food guide, has recognised the restaurant with a fork — a meaningful endorsement from a guide that judges Italian cuisine worldwide with exacting standards.
