Where Odesa Meets the Sea

Sitting directly on Lanzheron Beach at the edge of the Black Sea, Terrace. Sea View opened in 2016 as the third project of the Odesa-based Synergy Group. The premise was straightforward from the start: bring together the character of the city, a genuine love of food, and the particular mood that only a sea-facing terrace can produce. Nearly a decade on, that combination still defines the place.

The setting is designed so the water becomes part of the experience rather than just a backdrop. Light, textures, the arrangement of seating zones, and the view from the terrace itself are all considered as carefully as what arrives on the plate. The result is an atmosphere that feels relaxed without being careless — Odesa hospitality at its most considered.

The Kitchen

The menu is built around fresh fish and seafood, with Mediterranean accents running through the approach to ingredients and presentation. Oysters — both Eastern and Pacific varieties — alongside caviar, carpaccio, tartare, and a broad selection of fish and seafood dishes form the core of the à la carte offering. Wood oven pizza, pasta, risotto, and meat dishes extend the range for those who want something beyond the sea. A set lunch menu runs daily from 11:00 to 17:00, and a late-night menu keeps the kitchen open into the evening.

The Mediterranean philosophy here is one of respect for produce: carefully sourced ingredients, attention to freshness, and dishes composed to complement the surroundings rather than compete with them.

Wine and Recognition

The wine list earned Terrace. Sea View a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence — recognition that reflects the seriousness with which the team approaches its cellar. Sparkling, white, rosé, red, dessert, and non-alcoholic wines are all represented, making the list broad enough to move through an entire meal with confidence. Cocktails, both classic and contemporary, round out the drinks offering.
