The story
Mozza by Cocotte is the Italian chapter in the story of Bangkok's Hospitality Management Asia group — the same creative force behind Cocotte Farm Roast & Winery and modern brasserie Victoria by Cocotte. Where those concepts draw on French and farm-to-table sensibilities, Mozza turns its full attention to Italy, guided by a philosophy the team calls La Cucina di Mamma: "Mom's cuisine."
The idea is disarmingly simple. Italian cooking at its most honest is rooted in the home kitchen — generous, unfussy, made with good ingredients. At Mozza, that translates to pizzas pulled from a brick oven and pastas shaped by hand from premium Italian produce, all delivered with the kind of warmth that makes a meal feel like a visit rather than a transaction.
The menu spans the full arc of an Italian day. Breakfast brings frittata with mascarpone, a crab omelet finished with parmesan, and eggs Benedict on a homemade brioche bun. Later in the day, the kitchen moves through burrata, starters, salads, and into the heart of Italian comfort food: the pasta and risotto section alongside the wood-fired pizza menu. There is also an afternoon tea, an aperitivo menu, and a wine list — meaning the restaurant holds its own from morning coffee through to an evening glass.
Gambero Rosso, the authoritative Italian food and wine guide, awarded Mozza by Cocotte recognition in its 2025 edition — a meaningful endorsement given the guide's rigorous standards for Italian cuisine outside Italy.
What began as a single address has grown into five branches — EmQuartier, Siam Paragon, Central Chidlom, ICONSIAM, and the newest outpost at Central Park Dusit — each sitting within Bangkok's major retail and lifestyle destinations. The format travels well: the same brick-oven Italian cooking and the same La Cucina di Mamma spirit, whether you're on Sukhumvit or along the Chao Phraya at ICONSIAM.
