The story
Opened in 2023 on Sankt Eriksgatan 81, Luca is a small, focused Neapolitan pizzeria that takes a clear stance from the start. "There are two types of pizza," says Luca, the chef behind the oven. "The kind you eat on the go — and the kind you sit down for. We make the latter."
That philosophy shapes everything here. The wood-fired oven — Forno N° 01 — runs at 450 degrees, blistering each pizza in ninety seconds the traditional Neapolitan way. It is a discipline that demands precise dough, quality ingredients, and a steady hand, and it has earned the restaurant recognition from Gambero Rosso in their 2026 guide, one of Italy's most authoritative voices on Italian food culture abroad.
The pizzas read like a short, confident list with no filler. A classic Margherita and a fiery Diavola anchor one end; Crudo & Burrata — flagged as la specialità — brings something fresher and more indulgent. Quattro Formaggi, Mortadella e Pistacchio, and Tartufo round out a menu that trusts its ingredients rather than overwhelming them.
A Barbera d'Asti sits on the wine list, a natural pairing for the Neapolitan style on the plate.
The atmosphere is evening-oriented on weekdays, with the kitchen opening at four in the afternoon, while weekends stretch into lunch from noon. The interior — glimpsed through the restaurant's own imagery — is spare and warmly lit, the kind of place where the pizza is the décor. Delivery is available through Wolt and Foodora for those who prefer to eat in.
