The name says it plainly: this is a neighbourhood restaurant — krog in the Swedish sense — and the ash tree (asken) growing in the courtyard outside is both landmark and symbol. Tobias, Kalle, Carina, Fredrik and their team have kept the place going for nearly two decades with a straightforward conviction: that lunch should be held to the same standard as the evening à la carte, and that every guest deserves knowledgeable guidance through the menu and wine list.
