Bikt sits on Kyrkogatan 20-22 in central Göteborg, steps from the Cathedral whose presence almost certainly inspired the name — bikt being the Swedish word for confession. It's a fitting choice. The White Guide, which awarded Bikt its Fine level distinction for 2026, put it well: rarely has it been more inviting to sit down after a long day and confess sins in the company of a good friend.

The restaurant also runs a sister spot called Pastor, located inside Stora Saluhallen, where fresh pasta is made and served Monday through Saturday — a detail that signals real craft behind both addresses.
