The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

Where Russia Meets Asia, Block by Block

Vladivostok's Millionka quarter was once the city's original Chinatown — a dense, storied neighborhood at the heart of the Russian Far East. The restaurant that takes its name from this district doesn't just reference that history; it actively reconstructs it. Sitting on Semenovskaya Street in the city center, Millionka invites guests to feel genuinely connected to another era, one where Russian and Asian cultures overlapped in ways that shaped the entire region.

The concept is built around what the team calls a "modern mix of Russian and Asian recipes" — a deliberate fusion that draws equally from both traditions rather than leaning on one as a novelty accent for the other. The result is a Chinese and Pacific Northwestern cuisine that feels grounded in place rather than borrowed from elsewhere.

Design That Tells a Story

The interior leans into the chinoiserie aesthetic — an artistic dialogue between European and East Asian visual languages — making Millionka the only restaurant in Russia operating within the country's first Chinatown district in this style. The space itself is part of the experience: the contrast between Russian and Asian sensibilities is built into the walls, the materials, the atmosphere. As the restaurant puts it, "this is not just a restaurant, it is a history you immerse yourself in."

A Wine List Worth the Recognition

Millionka's wine program is one of its most decorated elements. With over 250 positions, the wine list earned recognition from Russian Wine Awards — and that commitment to serious wine curation is also why Wine Spectator granted the restaurant its Award of Excellence in 2024, a distinction that places Millionka among a select group of restaurants worldwide with genuinely notable cellars.

Recognition Beyond the Region

The restaurant has earned a bronze at the Palmovaya Vetv (Palm Branch) award, one of Russia's significant dining prizes, and has appeared in the WhereToEat Far East rankings multiple times. Most recently, Millionka entered the top 60 restaurants in the WhereToEat International 2026 list — a remarkable placement for a restaurant in Vladivostok, and a signal that its Chinese and Pacific Northwestern cuisine is resonating well beyond the Russian Far East.

The restaurant also hosts a dedicated Cigar Room and runs a regular calendar of gastronomic dinners, guest bar shifts, and seasonal festivals — including collaborations with champagne houses and whisky brands — making it a venue that operates as a cultural hub as much as a dining destination.
