Located inside the JW Marriott Mexico City Santa Fe, Quattro Gastronomia Italiana is built on a clear conviction: that Italian cuisine from the north — Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria — deserves to be served with the same rigor and warmth it carries at home. The restaurant earned recognition from Gambero Rosso, Italy's most authoritative food and wine guide, a distinction that underscores just how seriously Quattro takes its roots.

Twin Chefs from Piamonte

The kitchen is led by Fabrizio and Nicola Carro, twin brothers who grew up in the Piedmont region of Italy. That heritage shapes everything on the plate. Bon Appétit described their cooking as "traditional and rustic northern Italy," while the New York Times noted the restaurant as "exclusive northern Italian, frequented by European high society." Metropolitan Home called it "a wonderful and genuine northern Italian menu" — praise earned through consistency rather than spectacle.

What Arrives at the Table

The menu reads like a proper Italian structure: antipasti, zuppe, insalate, primi piatti, risotto, secondi, and house desserts including gelati e sorbetti. Daily specials from the chefs include risotto, fresh fish, and Angus Prime beef cuts — explained tableside by the hosts. Many ingredients are sourced directly from Italy.

Each month, Quattro rotates a regional Italian menu that travels from north to south depending on the season and available fresh produce. Come November, the focus turns to Piedmont itself, featuring the prized White Truffle of Alba — the "diamond of Italian gastronomy," as the restaurant describes it.

Wine and Private Events

A dedicated wine director is on hand to guide pairings, and the wine list draws from Italy's reserve selections. Beyond the dining room, Quattro caters to private parties and group events with five distinct set menus, making it a considered choice for corporate dinners and celebrations in the Santa Fe business district.
