The story
The culinary lineage traces back to Sunday mornings when the great-grandmother kneaded dough for tortellini alla carne. That domestic ritual grew into a dedicated pastificio operating since 1980. The family launched the restaurant at Piazza del Municipio in 2015 to share their work directly. They continue to roll pasta thin by hand using techniques inherited across generations. The Comune di Valeggio awarded the establishment the DE.CO Municipal Quality Mark for using genuine high-quality ingredients.
Dry meat tortellini and delicate broth versions form the core of the fresh pasta selection. These dishes showcase the authentic taste of Venetian cooking found in Valeggio sul Mincio. Hearty second courses feature regional staples like tripe, salt cod, and zander prepared in sauce. Sweet endings arrive as slices of torta delle rose, a traditional pastry crafted on-site.
The dining room fosters a relaxed atmosphere where the team greets every visitor warmly. An outdoor terrace adds seating space adjacent to the main hall. The venue encourages pets with allowances for small dogs and offers a complete vegetarian menu. A doggy bag service rounds out the practical hospitality, letting guests preserve uneaten dishes.
