The story
A Nostro Mizoun brings seasonal country cooking to Airali, situated at 1630 metres in the Valle Po. The owners revived this agricultural site after decades of quiet, naming it after the Occitan phrase for our home. Their aim remains straightforward. They offered guests a space defined by domestic warmth and unhurried hospitality.
The kitchen respects the turning seasons, grounding its Piedmont country cooking in what the soil yields. Ingredients arrive from their own land and neighbouring Cuneese farms. Fresh cheese appears with a vibrant bagnet vert alongside borage ravioli. Roasted ribs pair with garden vegetables and finish with a traditional bonet.
Outdoor tables face the western slopes, positioning diners directly beneath the Monviso massif. This vantage point earned the property a Faccino Contento + rating from ilGolosario. The cellar stocks regional wines and local craft beers to complement the rustic Italian country cooking. Vegetarian options appear regularly, and the overall pace suits families seeking a grounded mountain break.
