The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

A Sicilian Story on Rue Laffitte

Fimmina is a family project rooted in the Mediterranean. Chef Davide Luca was born in Sicily and began making pizza at the age of twelve. Trained at the École hôtelière Rocco Chinnici in Nicolosi, he refined his craft before bringing it to Paris, where he runs the pizzeria alongside his wife Rosella. The name itself carries a feminine spirit: each pizza on the menu is named after an iconic Italian woman — Sofia Loren, Monica Bellucci, and others — as a tribute to the culture and elegance that shaped Davide's cooking.

That commitment to authenticity has not gone unnoticed. Gambero Rosso, the authoritative Italian food and wine guide, awarded Fimmina 2 slices in its 2026 edition — placing it among the most credible artisan pizza addresses in Paris.

The Craft Behind the Dough

The foundation of everything here is a slow fermentation of 72 hours, producing a light, airy crust with genuine depth of flavour. Organic ingredients are sourced with care, and every pizza is finished in a traditional wood-fired oven. The result is artisan pizza that is neither heavy nor showy — just precise and honest.

The menu runs from the elemental (a Marinara built on San Marzano tomatoes, Datterino, garlic and oregano) to the more elaborate. The Loren layers nduja calabrese, stracciatella and fresh mint over a San Marzano base. The Cucinotta pairs pistachio cream with mortadella and burratina. The signature Fimmina combines fior di latte, radicchio, gorgonzola DOP, buffalo pearls and hazelnuts — bold but balanced. A short dessert list includes a house tiramisù and the Fimminazza, a cocoa-based mini pizza with Sicilian pistachio cream.

Wine and Atmosphere

The wine list is deliberately Italian and carefully chosen, spanning a Barolo DOCG from Piedmont to organic pét-nat from Sicily. Pairings are treated seriously — the phrase tutto finisce a tarallucci e vino (everything ends well over wine and biscuits) captures the spirit of the place. With outdoor seating available and the option for private parties or takeaway, Fimmina suits an easy weekday lunch as readily as a relaxed dinner.
