The story
Bellefeuille is the gastronomic restaurant of Saint James Paris, a private club and hotel at 5 Place du Chancelier Adenauer in the 16th arrondissement. The room is designed to dissolve the boundary between inside and out: panoramic wall panels with delicate motifs, two-tone marble, period fireplace, an antique mirror reflecting the greenery beyond, large Anduze terracotta pots planted with kentia palms, and birds scattered throughout the décor. The atmosphere is described by the house itself as a blend of aristocratic grandeur and romantic freshness — a place where you might come from across the city or simply as a neighbour, dining with family or friends.
The restaurant is led by Chef Grégory Garimbay, whose French cuisine has earned Bellefeuille a star in the Michelin Guide. Alongside him, Chef Adjoint Maxime Nourrissat and pastry chef Coline Doussin shape the kitchen's output, while the front of house is in the hands of Restaurant Director Gautier Tual and Food & Beverage Director Baptiste Lataillade. The cellar is overseen by Head Sommelier Arnaud Fatôme — a role that carries particular weight given that Bellefeuille holds Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence for 2025, one of the publication's highest recognitions for wine programming.
The restaurant's own words frame its philosophy simply: nature in the décor, nature on the plate. Dinner is served Monday through Friday, with the room open to hotel guests and members for breakfast and lunch as well. A smart casual dress code applies in the evening. Private dining is available for those seeking a more intimate setting.
The combination of a Michelin star, a Wine Spectator-awarded cellar, and a dining room that feels genuinely unlike anywhere else in Paris makes Bellefeuille one of the more quietly compelling addresses for serious French cuisine in the city.
