The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

Where Mediterranean Flavour Meets Canadian Seasons

Established in 2024 by Chef Adam Ryan and Joshua Mott, Azura arrived on Danforth Avenue with a clear point of view: take the bold, sun-soaked flavours of the Mediterranean and ground them in the finest local and seasonal Canadian ingredients. The result is an 11-course blind tasting menu served in an intimate, elegant room in the heart of Toronto's Greektown — one of the city's most characterful neighbourhoods.

The Menu

Every evening, the kitchen builds its tasting menu around whatever seasonal ingredients have just become available, so the experience shifts day to day. At $168 per person, the menu covers eleven courses and can be adapted for vegetarian diners or other dietary restrictions. The philosophy is straightforward: Canadian produce at its seasonal peak, shaped by Mediterranean instinct.

Drinks as a Second Language

The beverage program at Azura is as considered as the food. The wine list follows the principle that "what grows together, goes together," anchoring its selection in Mediterranean appellations while drawing from major viticultural regions worldwide. A dedicated wine pairing option highlights the team's favourite Mediterranean bottles alongside the tasting menu.

Chef Ryan's same seasonal, minimal-intervention sensibility carries into the cocktail program. Both spirited and non-spirited pairings are available — each one rooted in Mediterranean character and built with Canadian ingredients. That cocktail program earned Azura an Outstanding Cocktail Award in 2024, the same year the restaurant received recognition from the Michelin Guide. In 2025, Wine Spectator added its Award of Excellence, affirming the depth and coherence of the cellar.

A Room Worth the Occasion

Azura is designed for diners who want a meal that demands attention — not spectacle, but precision and care. The setting is intimate, the service table-side, and the format (blind tasting, courses unfolding at the kitchen's pace) asks guests to arrive curious and leave satisfied. For a special occasion or simply a serious dinner, it stands as one of Toronto's more compelling addresses for Canadian-Mediterranean fine dining.
