Celebrated table

NB Steak

NB Steak reimagines the Brazilian rodízio with a tasting-menu format, premium cuts, and a Wine Spectator-recognized cellar in São Paulo's Itaim Bibi.

The story

Crafted with passion, served with love

From the Grill to the Table, the Art of Churrasco

When it seemed there was nothing left to reinvent in Brazil's beloved rodízio tradition, NB Steak arrived with a quietly compelling answer. Instead of the familiar parade of skewers, the house introduced what it calls a Menu Degustação — a curated selection of cuts, salads, and sides served directly from the kitchen, all available for unlimited refills at a single price. It is Brazilian churrasco, but with the rhythm and intention of a proper dining experience.

Cuts, Craft, and Provenance

The meat program is the heart of everything here. Twelve cuts sourced from farms in the interior of São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, and Uruguay are selected for their high marbling — the well-distributed fat through the muscle fibers that defines the breeds of British origin NB Steak favors. Almost the entire selection is prepared on the grill; only the picanha and vazio arrive on the spit. Alongside these are standouts such as the house-exclusive Steak NB, a slow-roasted Porchetta (three hours in the oven), smoked Brisket, Paleta de Cordeiro, and, exclusively at the São Paulo locations, Black Beef. A Peixe da Amazônia with tucupi sauce signals that the kitchen's ambitions extend beyond beef.

Sides and salads arrive plated from the kitchen — Arroz Biro Biro, grilled Queijo Coalho with pepper jelly, Polenta e Mandioca, and a Croquete de Brisket among them. Desserts run from Churros com Doce de Leite to a Cocada Assada with vanilla ice cream and cumaru zest, and a Sagu de Vinho tinto with vanilla cream.

A Cellar Worth Noting

The wine list earned NB Steak a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2022 — recognition that reflects a genuine commitment to pairing beyond the expected. The drinks menu also features house cachaças, classic and exclusive caipiras, and a selection of G&Ts and cocktails, including a recently refreshed drinks card covered by Prazeres da Mesa.

Space and Scale

The Juscelino Kubitschek address in Itaim Bibi seats up to 280 guests and is equipped for private events ranging from corporate gatherings to family celebrations. The format — generous, convivial, and anchored in the best of Brazilian cooking — makes it equally suited to a long business lunch or a relaxed weekend dinner.
